Animal Free Supplements

RMBIO distributes the Regocel™ range of animal free media supplements developed and manufactured by GIRUS Life Sciences (GIRUS).

RegocelTMSupplements for Mammalian Cell Culture were developed by bioprocess engineers and provide unprecedented value to bio-manufactures with the following features:

  • chemically defined small molecules(almost all <1000 Da) that easily separate from biologics during isolation;
  • non-animal origin, enhancing safety profile and simplifying regulatory submissions;
  • supplements do not contain serum, serum substitutes, albumins, or meat or plan hydrolysates, all of which come at a very high loaded costs (upfront costs and downstream separation costs);
  • designed to direct cellular pathways common to all mammalian cells, providing consistency and reduction in optimization efforts and times;
  • increase protein yields up to 90%, providing a solution for capacity issues;
  • non-nutritional and compatible with a variety of media, nutritional supplements, and culture formats, enabling their easy integration into existing processes;
  • reducemanufacturing costs and time-to-market for biologics;
  • fully compatible with all cell culture media, including: low serum, Serum Free (SFM), Animal Derived Component Free (ADCF), Chemically Defined (CD), and Protein Free (PF).
